    James Hanson , Villa Park.

    Might not have been the most breathtaking goal ever but for the love of everything held dear, it was just mental. (A state of being most City fans achieved that night).

    Paul Taylor scored some of the best goals, all largely irrelevant though, just as he was as a player - Hanson at Villa will never be beaten for magnitude, unless maybe we win the Premier League one day.

    Whats confusing me a little and I know that's not hard. is that we didn't play Bury in the 2011/12 season.

    I believe that goal scored by Daley was on 03.01.11-which happened to be the last goal my mum saw before she passed away. What a goal to send her off eh?

    All 4 were great goals on the day Chris not a poor one amongst them, but that last one was sheer quality, add to that once it went in Chelsea knew the game was up.

    Now thats interesting ...for me seeing Weeds getting beat was superb and Hansons Villa goal made me blob my trip back to Barrow for a lock in in a little boozer in Broad street with the McHugh Family...... but for sheer memories Chelsea and Yates goal ... they were superb that season and we done them .After that goal I knew we were home and dry.....

    Great thread!

    For me its Yates, the goal has it all. Its a team goal, lots of skill, against top opposition and was the cherry on the top of the cake in terms of being goal 4 after being 2 nil down.
