    An article predominantly about Matt’s time at our near neighbours. He makes a comment about ER and the impact he had on the team and it’s subsequent demise. Measured and constrained in my view, “.....two years at Bradford City, where he was named Player of the Year in his final season.

    “I had a good time at Bradford – we’d regularly have 20,000 for a League One game,” Kilgallon adds.

    “I loved working under Stuart McCall, he was brilliant and funny, but you knew when he was angry and where you stood with him, which worked for me.

    “Stuart was sacked when we were in sixth place in the league, which was ridiculous. The chairman also did not like anyone who had been close to Stuart.”

    When Killa won 7 of the POTY awards I was hip player sponsor / now that was a good night. I’m still in touch with him / a nicer guy you couldn’t meet. Played golf with him - absolute Quality guy. Can’t putt for toffee though haha.
