    First round draw tomorrow evening at 7pm on BBC2

    3 non league Yorkshire clubs in the draw, York City, Harrogate and Whitby, who have to go to Stourbridge in a replay though.

    Who does everyone fancy?

    I would like a home draw against our old football league friends Darlington.

    My prediction is somewhere horrible like Fatty Evans' Gillingham away

    We are ball number 5

    Non league at home imo. And they’re Saturday games and I don’t think we have any Tuesday games, before or after, so play a full strength team.

    A good cup run is not only enjoyable, but could be a big boost to the January war chest.

    I'd happily take the bye but, failing that, I want a trip somewhere new. Dulwich Hamlet, Nantwich Town, Boston United or Chippenham Town would do.

    Long away match would be a nightmare with Colchester and Plymouth away the next 2 Saturdays and the 2nd round is the week after so if we are unlucky with the draws there's the potential for 4 long away trips on consecutive weekends.

    Mixed feelings about getting the bye, on the one hand it gives us a free week and a chance for players to recover and any players needing a run out can do the Tuesday after against Rochdale in the EFL Trophy, also guarantees 36k in prize money and unlikely to loose out a lot in gate receipts but on the other hand it would be great to keep momentum going if we can keep the run going for the next 3 matches.

    The club might financially. Promotion is the only priority, but if we can have both then it could help bring one or two players in in January to get us over the line.

    I'm sure as manager Bowyer won't want to go out first round, not mega money the early rounds but any monies generated would come in useful in the January window.
