Looks like Bowyer has cottoned onto Devine and Anderson both being shite.

 

Not sure what to make of this one. Doesn’t seem to fill any of the obvious gaps we have. Not a bad thing having plenty of cover, but not a particularly inspiring signing.

Not sure whether I remember correctly, but I seem to recall that he may have turned us down in the summer to pursue football at a higher level. He then went on trial for Bury. If true, doesn’t sound wholly committed.

 

Bowyer doing a mate a favour I see. Woeful player but at least its only until Palmer and Devitt are back fit.

 

Its because we will be playing at a higher level soon

 

Just a cheap option to boost the numbers until a couple return from injury.

 

Looks like it although I'm not sure we're short in that area at all.

CM we've got Cooke, Akpan, Anderson, Devine and Pritchard. Then we've got Pritchard, McCartan and Cooke who can play 10. So is another poor, non ball winning midfielder necessary? I'd say not.

 

Can’t really grumble on this one. Will provide cover until Devitt is back and better than Devine etc starting

 

But Devine and Anderson are not good enough, so really we only have Cooke, Akpan and Pritchard. All of which are starting 11. Anyone that prevents Devine and Anderson having game time gets a thumbs up from me.

 

Also Akpans form is very much recent. Before then we would have been categorising similar to the others we deem not good enough alternatives.

Based on the weekends starting XI, an injury to either Cooke or Akpan seriously weakens our CM. So in that sense, I’m happy with this signing for all parties.

 

We dont need numbers in midfield though. We have plenty. Its lack of depth in quality that's the issue.

The consensus from Bolton fans is that hes garbage.

I cant say I can recall much of ever seeing him play....

What makes him a woeful player in your opinion, genuine question I've never heard of the lad ?.

Didn’t he play in some friendly games? I vaguely remember someone who looked absolute bobbins in midfield. Seemed to be very unfit. Maybe that affected his performances. Or maybe he’s just bobbins.

Did Bowyer find some loose change down the back of Stefans sofa?

 

Let's not start knocking Bowyers signings, not seen a out and out bad un yet ?, he inherited most of the ringers at our club.

 

Seen him a number of times over the years bronco. Always looked slow, clumsy and doesn't have an influence on games. Also he was dreadful at Bolton and Blackpool, just ask any of their fans.
