Misinformed about which incident ? I clearly seen Everton's violent attack on the Carlisle player, and it doesn't seem like he has been arrested yet, maybe the director who posts on here can clear this up and tell us if he's been arrested yet. It just seems to have been put to one side whilst everyone moans about some spotty kids whose penises haven't even fully grown yet running on side of pitch.

Since when was a tackle a violent attack? You clearly have an agenda against the club, seems you only post on here to try brainwash people to think like you. Trouble is everyone on here gives a crap about this club regardless of different opinions, so you might want to fish elsewhere.

Violent attack? It's useful to have one or two devil's advocates around, but that heads off into the realms of WUMmery. It was an ill-judged tackle, for which he has been punished. Here one can truly say "End of."

That's your opinion, my opinion is that he lost the first tackle then violently lunged in the second time. Don't try tell me that is classed as a tackle. These are supposed to be the people that young kids look up to,

Our youngsters don't look up to anyone they are to busy at pitch and street level to be bothered about a football match and how you play the game.

Don't feel like it's a big deal as long as it's the players approaching the fans instead of the other way around. Creates a bit of atmosphere as opposed to some old farts sitting down clapping over a 90th minute winner. If however the fans go on to the pitch itself then they should be punished, if its just the walkway that a players entered to celebrate with the fans then I don't mind

The lad that hit the steward just came on screen just before the shot closed on Quest , still giving it a bit to the steward from a distance , noticed he slipped away rather swiftly just before the final whistle probably thought it was best to do so , easily identifiable from the shots I saw

Hard to disagree with this. It does seem that the couple of incidents of pitch encroachment over the past couple of home games do seem to have an element of premeditation to them. I've sat in the lower kop for years and don't recognise most of the faces of the mob that seems to have turned up to the left of the goal in the past few games. Its a fine line between creating an atmosphere which is badly lacking in football these days and it turning into a free for all.

From an old fart and a happy clapper, I don't agree with your post, but it doesn't matter if you or I accept it I'm not sure the FL would have the same opinion.
I'm no expert on where the football pitch starts and finishes but I'd suggest if fans climb over the advertising board then they have entered the playing area, I think that's how the FL might interpret the situation.

    Why? zero tolerance
Standard WHU policy, three year ban, revocation of ST, and prevention of applying for ST waiting list for three years.

I think they need to track the CCTV filming back, to see where these people are sat. Surely. The system has enough capacity to achieve this. It can be difficult to get a clear image when people are moving, but when they are relatively motionless then better images can be created and the identity of the individual discovered.

Not sure if someone else has posted but I saw a photo on Twitter last night of a nasty looking bruise on someone’s hand, allegedly a steward BIT him!

It would certainly make them think twice about doing it. I love a bit of passion and interaction between players and fans, especially players jumping into the crowd but you can't do that then expect the fans to stay off the pitch. My problem with it as stands, and i mentioned it earlier, is this doesn't seem to be an off the cuff celebration, most involved yesterday don't even sit in that area of the ground its nearly always pretty much empty.

I agree with a lot of this too. It’s a bit of a non-incident really, not that I particularly condone what happened. But the perennially outraged love getting their knickers in a twist, trying to get as many adjectives in their posts to express their utter disgust more than last person. Sad really.

The stewards look like they’ve just been plucked from the houses behind the ground

Its rife in society these days to be moe outraged than your neighbour or mate. Just take a look at Bernardo Silva's tweet about Bernard Mendy looks like and see the faux outrage pouring from outraged members of the public wanting to be offended on Mendy's behalf, who from i can gather wasn't offended. Made me laugh out loud when i saw it.

Well TBH. I think that tweet is a bit shit mate. Doesn’t mean I think he should be marched off to the gulags. Just a quite word would suffice, no harm done. Then if he does it again, then he’s obviously a bit of a dick.
