It is quite common for new players to pose for a photo with the chairman at lots of clubs. He can't exactly pose for a picture with the manager just at the moment either. I should imagine it took 30 seconds of Rahic's time. I don't think that will delay any managerial appointment. Unless there are spare copies of Greg's list, nobody will know if his name is on it.

I accept that it won’t have taken long for the photo. However, it might have taken longer for the negotiations, and who has done that? Greg out of action and no manager. It all feels odd to me to be even signing players without a new manager in place.

 

Not meaning to be pedantic, but I do feel that these photo calls are also a chance to engage with public and fans alike. What for me is disappointing, is the failure to sell the Club image appropriately. Where are the Club colours? The lack of a tie, a crest, a scarf or a shirt/training top is a failure to promote Erin's investment.Considering his business acumen, commercially,I think he's missed a trick here. Might as well be a signing for a pub team. We need to rebuild so get the brand out there and sell the Club's image for heaven's sake.

Yep, it's true everybody, the u23's development squad is over, young Joel Grodowski has gone home, so all £2:26p can now be pumped into boosting our first team for a realistic bash at our relegation battle!
