    He knew that he was leaving us to join Millwall and still played in the play-off final against his new club just a couple of days earlier despite the deal being done. He can do one *@?$

    No chance he’d drop down to league two and play for us. Definitely would turn his nose up at that prospect, even though he’d encounter Charlie a lot.
    I guess as English football goes, it’s a wrap for him. Would imagine he’ll head off to Australia and earn a packet.

    Although you're not the first to quote about the Mezza deal being done before the final, I'd suggest Mezza was a fool to sign a contract with a club that might have still been in league one and the team he was leaving were gaining promotion to the Championship.
    We'll never know what Rahic would have done if we had gone up but I'd be suprised if the club had not offered him a better package than Millwall could as a league one club.
