    "Up front" in this sense just means the amount before any add ons. Like a base fee so to speak. It won't be paid in bulk but rather spread out over the length of the contract (as is standard I believe)

    That may well be the case Park, your previous post just made me smile :) in all seriousness the key thing is we are in a much better position than we could ever have dreamed possible only 3 months ago. Then again, being City, if we get off to a dodgy start everything could implode again! :laughing:

    I don’t think anyone will have a problem with Stefan taking money back. Looks like he has released some of it for an increase this season. Next year a lot of our most expensive contracts will have run their course. I don’t think Stefan is going anywhere not for some time. He will wait until we have turned a corner and back to where we were, then he might if he gets a good offer.
