We've assembled a decent enough squad from the looks of things. Maybe another quality midfielder and winger, but I'd also be happy with the view of shifting out any players that don't have a long term future at the club first.

How will City find out the actual details with regards this deal, initial fee the add on's and the terms of the contract that will effect our % and ultimately what we receive as part of the transfer ?.

 

Great result for us and I'll be hoping the blunts can stay up. Regardless of how the money is divvied up, its guaranteed (as much as it can be) income not based on season ticket sales, cup runs, player sales etc. That can help the club in long term planning. Even if this only goes to repay existing debts, it means it frees up other income which had been allocated to service those debts.

Not sure some think it’s his brother, dad or an uncle. Tbh don’t know or care, I just remember saying a long time ago how would this person have a clue about an arrangement between the two clubs. And was proven right, Oli needs to be a bit shrewder in the future instead of engaging with fans about a sell on which he’s wrong about. Maybe his agent can advise him in the future about how he handles himself.

The good thing is we’ve got plenty of time now to find some players if our budget is increased by this windfall.

Give Bowyer some money now and say there’s more available in January if we are in the top 7 for example. Give them all an incentive to work towards

 

Windfall may go to Lawn and Rhodes as any sell on or part of it may have been part of the sale agreement as a potential asset

I just hope Oli agrees personal terms with the blades before I get too excited. When it's all signed and sealed then brilliant. Itd be a bit of a shitter if it all fell through at this stage. Itd be fantastic if we could get a bit of a budget boost to allow another 2 quality signings, I wonder if Stefan sees it the same way. Im sure it's been stated that any profit from player sell on fees would go into plugging the deficit from Edins reign. We might not see a penny. Hope I'm wrong
