    Fair enough with Heckie although I think he's displayed the same traits as Grayson in thinking he's better than he is. Flynn contracted until 2020 so pretty much a non-starter. For someone that's worn the claret and amber with distinction I wouldn't mind Dean Saunders. I know I'm probably in a minority but his managerial career started really well, he's available (presumably) and if he's learnt lessons from his career ultimately stalling I think he'd be worth another shot. Certainly no worse than a lot of the names being put forward.

    Aidy Boothroyd, current England under-21 manager he could keep that job part time, look at all the positives local lad, managed in the Premiership, knows this level, and would have very close contacts with many Premier League clubs regarding under 21 Premiership loans, what you waiting for Edin you know it makes sense get on the blower.

    I don't understand why you think Holloway would be such a find, given his record in the last six years and Megson such a disaster!!

    I actually don't want either, because I think they are very much yesterday's men

    Fordy, on a serious point, I'm genuinely interested in your views on who should take over as City's manager (or head coach).

    For various reasons in the recent past, you haven't wanted Parky, McCall or Grayson as City's manager. More recently you have also turned your nose up at just about every one of the managerial rumours which have been suggested, including the latest one Megson. In the past you've bragged about how much football you've watched at all levels and must therefore now have a good idea of what kind of football you like, what your preferred formation is and what tactics are best deployed. Having watched so much football, you must also therefore have a good idea of which managers would fit with your particular views on how lower league football should be played successfully.

    Cards on table, @Fordy117@Fordy117 and it's a simple question, who would you like to see on Rahic's short list for the head coach or manager of our first team?

    Out of interest, who are your realistic top three candidates for the post? Also, while we're at it, who/how would you realistically replace our board with? All i've seen you do is poo poo every single suggestion.
