    nah that's ridiculous. you might not rate Billy all that highly but there's no way in hell that Harrogate 'is his level'

    he's way better than the National League and obviously only signing there because his family are settled up here and aren't going to uproot.

    brilliant signing for Harrogate, that.

    Great signing for Harrogate i agree
    GB didnt rate him as a L2 player otherwise he would still be with us
    Lets see who is right should Harrogate get promoted

    He didn't make any kind of impact and struggled to get in the worst team in league one so how can he be "way better than national league" level

    Don't know Ricc, can't say I've been keeping tabs on the situation. He may get L1 football but I would rather play at a lower level knowing I was getting paid for it.

    In fairness to Billy and anyone else trialling at Bolton, if the ownership change goes through there's no reason they'd not get paid and they won't be signing a deal if it doesn't.
