Yes once again plenty turned out, plenty from the club, Edin & James, Roger Owen, players past and present, Stuart of course he drew more attention than most, Grayson and Snodin and a lot of old faces from the past who were there on that day.
David Markham was stood by my side so I couldn't resist asking him when he was returning to the T&A and doing some proper investigative journalism into just what's going on at Valley Parade, he's been watching City 70 years still has a good memory of past times watching the club.
I was a little disapointed with today's service I get it that there is a need for clergy to offer spiritual support ETC but IMO it went a little too far this year often with no relevance to that tragic day.

Aside from the obvious balls up they’ve made in alienating almost everyone through what seems like a combination of naivety and arrogance and what that means in terms of their ability to implement a successful youth setup I think “The strategy” is a good one and makes sense given the numbers of talented youngsters leaving Prem academies but if we get relegated off the back of having a lower mid table budget and a poor managerial appointment it will look foolish.

If the owners are convinced this will work then the investment doesn’t need to come from the first team budget. Even if all they care about is ROI and want to make a few quid, losing loads of revenue and exposing the club to the loss of revenue that a relegation would entail seems daft for the want of a one off infrastructure investment that’s going to pay for itself pretty quickly. If you can’t find the additional cash for that you don’t have much confidence in it.

 

Because I am not deluded and honest with myself.

Yes, can put something into shi& sandwich but and the end of day its shi& and you have to see the shi& to turn it into a nice ham sandwich.

 

I have never met a successful business man with a serious negative attitude ever.

 

As I say the key is not to live in delusion.

City at this moment are shi& and run by jokers. If you want to lie to yourself and come across like a fool that's up to you.

This isn't my business but if it was I would be admitting we're shi&e and investing to make it better.
