For your consideration - Chelsea and Tottenham use the 'Head Coach' model. Different levels of scale to us but the model seems to work for them.

 

Spurs also use the heavily incentivised bonus system for wages. Granted it's off the scale compared to us but it's a pay system they have used for years.

 

It will always have a good chance of working, in the PL ........ Off the scale, as you say.
But in Lge 1 - Players want and need a guaranteed monthly pay cheque ........... Even if it is only £8k !

 

Not really sure how people survive on less than 8k a month, I thought the minimum wage had just gone up.

For me it is the way to go. Sponsor the development team, get further investment to fund this venture. Great advertising, supporting healthy young footballers, what’s not to like? A gym chain? One of those companies who promote healthy eating? Anything along those lines would good. Let’s promote ourselves and get companies interested. They could have photos and videos promoting their products and incorporating the young tea, this is the time to do it with the World Cup coming up when ppl are interested in football, what about foreign investors.

I wonder if he was down at the memorial service this morning, there were one or two giving me strange looks, James Mason was pointing me out to Edin, but he saw Al (P Neshead) stood by me and thought better of approaching us .
