    That and a bottle of exclusive tap water -£8.50 in Leeds but you do get a view of a dirty old canal.

    I’ve found it like that for around 18 months or so. Used to always go for breakfast/lunch but not been back.

    Poor service and the food quality wasn’t as good as it once was.

    The olive tree just down the road is good for breakfast. Nothing too fancy but quick and decent service

    Shame I've had only good times there, will give it a swerve till things settle down. Owner can be a tad noisy tho....

    Been to the Olive a few times, but only because the Terrace was full, it's always been garbage in comparison. Snacks, omelettes, paninis etc were nowhere near as good or as well presented.

    Nope, but that early in the week, then definitely Thurs/Fri+ much more. Different days/Times & culture. Believe it or not, there was a large indie business vibe (between Thornton Rd and Whetley Lane towards the centre), with entertaining & deals being done, like a normal city! Business owners, salesmen, accountants, insurance brokers, solicitors etc. Before everybody followed the money.......to Leeds.

    New ‘luxury’ restaurant opened in Birkenshaw, in the old co-op building opposite the George pub (enjoyed many pints in there as a young drinker).
