For the record, for one season when we had sold hardly any advertising panels around the pitch David, through one of his businesses, bought up the spare capacity and then had the risk of not selling on the space. From my recollection it cost him money but helped the Club so if I were you I'd do a bit more research in future before making statements like you have, inferred or otherwise.

The best available? The best available will only come to you if the money is right. How we got this extra revenue is anyones guess. I'm assuming the owners think they have done their bit already although how much of this will come out of their own pocket remains to be seen. The sponsorship one is a viable alternative to the owner chucking their own money in but as we know is very hard to come by in a working class area like Bradford where there are very few large companies willing to part with the sort of money needed to give an academy a realistic chance of working.
