They’ve got to Go!!!!

I remember it well and have alluded to it in my post. But its one thing disagreeing with a decision, which I myself have been doing a lot of in recent months, to protesting.

I can understand demanding change if it was year after year of the same disagreement. But the sight of Cardiff fans lifting Vincent Tan aloft at the weekend is food for thought.

 

so anyone that isn't blindly clapping everything at all times isn't a supporter??

anyone that, in their view, think the owners aren't going to better the club and feel they want to try do something about that, isn't a supporter??

I didn't moan when we sold Wisdom and pocketed money from his loan and permanent move.

there's been a sound business and there's running it on a shoe string. there is a difference between speculating a bit on educated business projections that we can gain it back from elsewhere and there's simply refusing to speculate anything at all.

this is English football mate, nearly every single club in the land simply HAS to spend more than it earns to try and achieve anything at all., because income just doesn't match up to wages and bonuses etc etc.

 

It does at City. Hence why the years of progression is now becoming a downward spiral. Player budgets being diluted with a development budget in league 1. Who would have thought.

 

No, several posters have passed comments on that situation and said it was a two year deal and would have finished before Edin and Stefan came on board, and I'm sure if that was the case someone like Dave Baldwin would have had documentation to back it up.

 

They have speculated on top of the budget they have spent a lot of money by league one standard on transfer fees. Remember people keep pointing out they pay fairly small wages but high bonuses so if the team is successful the money spent is a lot higher. And they have put a lot of money into the youth and development Squad long overdue . Some of the way they have managed the club and the man management has been terrible but some of the other criticisms is over the top

That isn't speculating, it's spending (some of, not all) what was already there through selling Hanson and Clarke, through the play offs, through the sell on fee's achieved from Wisdom and Wells.
and look at what it got us... 200k on a perennial substitute who has shown about 45 minutes of half decent play in a full season, and Dominic bloody Poleon.

they have put money into "development and youth" but to do that properly costs millions, 300k is here nor there, thats why it isn't generally done at League 1 level. that 300k would go a lot further put into the first team.
30k went on Jacob Hanson - who is leaving the club for nothing having failed to get anywhere near the grade. that's 30k a club like ours can ill afford to spend on projects and hopes and outside bets, and shouldn't be spent at the expense of the first team. Luke Hendrie, Greer, would have both cost less than 30k, but this was refused and it was spent on Hanson. that's not a good decision whichever way you look at it.

and if the current small wages but heavy bonuses system is getting us the shite that played for us this season that system wants scrapping!

 

The owners urgently need to leave.

What about the difference between what we took in ticket sales and what we spent about 700K last year doesn’t that take up much of what we took in windfalls and it is going to be over double that this year

 

Signing Hanson for money and turning down Hendrie is beyond ridiculous.

 

Ticket sales is not the only income stream we have.

 

On the other hand we got Robinson for nothing and even at this early stage is worth more than the both of them put together

 

I'm not sure, in real transfer market terms thats true

sure he's look handy, and has promise, but clubs lining up willing to pay to buy him? i highly doubt it.

 

We should have spent £250,000 since the new owners took over.

Charlie Wyke is the only one worth a fee.

The rest is just wasted money.

 

And the playing budget is not the only cost. The massive rent non playing staff wages power supply rated stadium upkeep. All comes from what we get from the franchise but I bet it’s not enougn
