I accept that, I'd put in another thread about having a specialist section - as every thread I read at the minute descends to Edin being wrong & it doesn't ad anything to any debate & means any point that are being made get lost in the rhetoric

Just wanted to have a debate without it being about the Chairman

 

Forums very rarely stick to the rules, passion and emotions get in the way.

 

And this weekends lottery numbers are.....

 

They are not novice businessmen.. they are novice English football club owners.

 

Which is a fair argument & I get it believe me but its a self fulfilling prophecy (see Newcastle/Blackpool etc.) these owners are here for the long term, like it or not. No one will buy the club at present as the media presence continued by a few fans is toxic (see every social media platform) Similarly it will effect Player/Manager recruitment as no one wants to come to an employer who has such highlighted issues with its supporters.

So by all means keep going - make banners, boycott games etc. etc. (as assuming whilst ever they are still here you will have to keep upping the rhetoric) but all that will happen is by the end the Chairman will pull the plug as they are not getting anything out of putting so much of their own money into the club & we will be unable to recruit anyone half decent as who wants to come somewhere where there is such an public discourse running.

This in all honesty will hurt the club much more than anything the owners have said or done that have upset you in the past.

 

Amen to that - and I guess we live in a democracy so (within reason) people can say and do as they please! Just thought it was sunny so I'd try and avoid some negativity for at least 24 hours, but then again I am a Bradford fan so hhhmmmm

 

I do know that being on here too much makes you feel depressed, was hoping we had the manager situation sorted so I could abandon this forum until September lol

 

You say a lot - and ask a lot. Maybe if you could give us an idea of who you are, it may go a little way to us been receptive to your posts - rather than thinking you're a crack addict!

 

Well this post fills me with positive vibes, I don't care about other clubs.

Debt free or sustainable debt, I prefer the later similar to many clubs.

We've had cheap affordable season tickets for around 10 seasons, nothing new from our present owners.

They have made mistakes not sure we can afford many more as our season ticket sales are proving or is that not a barometer of fans voting with their feet, as the last several home game where fans have stayed away for whatever reason. I think most of us know why maybe you do but would not admit to it.

They or should I say Stefan only made the comment a week or so ago, since then we have lost a Championship manager in Simon Grayson who did a very open inteview that left a lot of things open to fans own interpretation, time will tell if they are prepared to change and listen, I hope your last comment is fact and things change for the better because I won't be taking your advice and going to watch Manchester City.

 

What I want to know @south york bantams is since you obviously know more than the rest of us is where is the plan for infrastructure: I would like a costed plan with all the stress factors that would prevent the plan being implemented. This plan could be put on the BCAFC website and updated appropriately, we could all see what is happening. I don’t think any of this is sensitive information and it is what good businesses do.

 

Do any other clubs do this?.. not being antithetic, just interested to know and if not why would we expect our club to do it?
