You need to put Edin's era to bed and move on. Damage as been done. Time to heal and bounce back this summer

 

I think Rhodes feels almost obligated to help us out of this rut because it's he who shares responsibility for selling to the utter fraud that is Edin Rahic.

 

I liked him.

 

Not sure thats a fair comment, the vast majority on C&B and fans in general were very happy to read just how they were going to run our club, infact they said they wouldn't change a winning formula, and within two weeks of their tenure they did just that by pissing off the one major factors with regards our clubs sucess "Phil Parkinson".
I think Julian feels he has a responsibility because he does not want to see any more damage done to his/our club and answered Rupps call when Rupp realised he'd been well and truly shaffted by his co-owner.

 

Just saying, things did improve in the first season post Parkinson.

 

Be more suitable to attain thoughts for the master of disguise that is Stefan Rupp, whom is still with the club.

Thankfully, the boat that is Edin, has sailed off.

 

I was at the POTYA that year, McCall had knitted together the tightest knit team i've seen at City. On a par with the league 2 promotion side. You could see the togetherness of them all. But there were murmurings even then that all was not well. You could tell at the awards night that Rahic seemed put out by the adulation for McCall, my dad reminded me of it the other week. Everything Stuart did was despite of that poisonous little bast@rd being at our club. Only by McCall being there for the first half on next season did we not get relegated last season, which would have happened if Rahic had gotten his wish to get rid of McCall sooner.

 

Agree with that. I did think that R&R made the right noises, and that their plans for the way forward were not unrealistic. What soon became clear though was the huge gap between their words and their deeds. Except, I suppose, for keeping season-ticket prices low, they -- and especially Rahic -- failed to match up the two.

Hardly the point I was making, but even if we go along with your example it wasnt either Rahic or Rupp who brought Stuart McCalls name up as Phil Parkinsons replacement, in fact Rahic joked about googling Stuart McCall as he knew nothing what so ever about McCall and seeing a player falling from the roof of a car, we should have sussed this guy then.
