Liked the shot of Pearson's records, my shop of choice when first buying singles in 1969, happy days.

Being a little older than yourself @Jayteebee@Jayteebee the first record I bought was The Poni -Tails, Born Too Late from Busby's where you'd ask for the record to be played and you go into a little booth and put some ear phones on,.
With regards Pearson's I bought my first "radiogram" from them s-l225.jpg in those days they wouldnt give you any discount so I asked as I was paying cash could I have an LP thrown in, they agreed so I got a Beatles double album I think it was With the Beatles.

The only double album the Beatles released (apart from the red and blue ''Best Ofs") was The Beatles, aka The White Album.
With The Beatles was their second album, with the iconic b&w shot of their heads and shoulders, wearing black roll necks.

As I said it was a long time ago but I remember the salesman calling me a cheeky bugger for getting the double album.
