It only matters to note that it was more about luck than some inevitable outcome of Parky's managerial genius. They could so easily have been gone. And they haven't had it tough as some make out. We all know that they seemed to work some strange rules given their finances such as affording ALF or Wilbraham. They shouldn't have been relying on a great escape given their relative size and the way their budget operated in a quite unique way.

Sorry we'll have to disagree, he made two substitutions both attacking options one a defender and the other like for like winger and it brought them the two goals they needed to win the game as a point would not have been good enough, surely he deserves credit for that ?.

 

Credit for the substitutions but we all know that on 99 times in 100 they would not have bagged two goals. He did what was needed perhaps but he also had luck on his side too.

Wells is the exception to the rule. Name me another striker that Parky has significantly improved, and for every one he has there are 3/4 Louis Moults who went elsewhere to progress.
