I can't agree mate, I know James and I think he's exactly the sort of person we need back at the club right now.

Look for me I just think we need new blood at board level.

It's like it's a mates club at City. It's weak.

I've nothing against anyone at City but in my mind we need fresh ideas and people on that board now.

 

Agree with you both. Think James is exactly what we need on a commercial level but we also need someone to take charge of the club and make tough decision to get us moving forward again. Whoever is in charge of looking at the player budget needs to make decisions to get rid of the deadwood/high earners/bottlers and start again. Again!!

Think of a premier league that is near to where I live and someone on that board who has links to city. All this as come from their end not city too.

 

O'Brien, Caddis and Ball are the only one's who can hold their heads high - the only ones who've never given in during games.

But when you're heading out of the league in bottom place without a fight, you can't have a POTS awards night. Although, I guarantee that some would still turn up to 'get behind the lads'. You know, as 'proper fans'.

 

I don't know where you live, but the only person I can think of with links to City on the board at PL level would be David Baldwin, but i didn't think Burnley were up for sale.

James Mason was on radio Leeds only last week on the Bradford City monthly programme,and he was asked about coming back but said his new venture was going really well and would not be coming back to City but would offer advice if asked.

Well he's changed his mind since Christmas it that is the case, when asked the question by Andy Couzens would he return I believe his comment was "he'd walk over hot coals" Stefan has his phone number.

 

There's a lot of money in/at our club, the question is do they want to risk it buying the football club.

 

Think he was pointing out his involvement with agency and local sports people not the club.

 

Whatever it is it needs to provide some enthusiasm because whatever energy and excitement I had has been utterly lost. Just cannot wait for this season to end so we can start again next season. Awful season.
