Way over the top for Roger Owen to suggest imposing 3 year bans on some over zealous kids celebrating a goal. In fact I think it is disgusting. A friendly letter in the post as a warning perhaps.

 

And for the first 2, we are bang to rights. Letting off or throwing smoke bombs (or whatever we want them to be called), is inexcusable.

But celebrating a goal with our players? Really?

 

@wetherbywhaler was online when I initially tagged him. I was hoping he would explain his actions, but seems he was in stealth mode and reading the comments rather than caring to explain his OTT threats.

I get it with the Rochdale incident, it wasn't pretty viewing but the other two incidents have been blown out of proportion. Are we wanting to squeeze the last bit of life out of English football? Honestly, if we are being punished in any way for what happened in the Peterborough game then i feel like walking away from football.

Great post. There isn't anyone who was at that game who, if a true football fan, would not have celebrated with the players like the fans at the front of the kop did. Maybe the players should celebrate in front of the Midland Road and get a lukewarm round of applause for their efforts.

 

Can we not have some gate type things at the bottom of each set of steps with a steward manning them? Or is it for fire reasons we don’t have them?

Running on the pitch can lead to afray and as we saw the other week a player being attacked. They know the rules and should stick to them

 

@wetherbywhaler are you gonna ban the players who ran into the crowd as well? That could assist us after we get relegated. Just saying.
