If we do go down, it wont be Bowyer's fault thats for sure.

It wouldn't have been Hopkin's fault either, for what it's worth.

He couldn't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, but we aren't going down because he stuck with Chicksen for too long or because we played long ball a little bit too much.

Disagree. Hopkin should shoulder some of the blame for me.

Yes, he inherited a lopsided squad with little backbone. However, there was still enough talent in that squad for him to guide us to mid table. He took over with us lying in 18th place, 6 months later he bottled it and resigned with us marooned in 23rd place.

A big factor is January recruitment we didn't need Butterfield or a centre half who can't get in the Squad yet another midfielder who can't get a game and an injury ravages full back. We did need some width some proper competition at centre back and a physical forward. Hopkin had a poor hand but he had the opportunity to make it better and he failed

I don't disagree that we have some talented players, but the most valid criticism even back in preseason was that we weren't signing a team - we weren't plugging gaps - we had, and still have, massive gaping voids - the wings, up front - so for the three or four genuine quality midfielders (ALL central, I'll add), we don't have a good squad at all, we don't have a valid or sensible set up, we'd struggle to play a normal formation, so I just don't agree that we deserve to be in anything but the predicament we find ourselves in.

Fair criticism on paper, but I'm not sure how hands on managers are in transfer windows these days. Are you sure he didn't hand in a list of targets, Bradford City failed to get them for various reasons, then effectively settle for the reinforcements that WANTED to come, ie, Butterfield and Clarke?

Hoping for a performance from Butterfield this Saturday, been a bit underwhelming so far...

Unable to make the match Saturday but for me is a must win. Can’t see the new manager making 2 many changes although maybe a more attacking line up if that’s at all possible

Are you aware of what happened for him to fail on the targets you outline - because in my book I am sure had he been able to fill those portions he would have .....

The "Bounce Factor" should come into play but I don't see Bowyer as likely to provide that ? What can he really effect in 5 days very little in readiness for Sat I would say. We need the team to step up and "manage their game". Difference had the appointment been Evans is that Sat would have been all about him taking the focus off the team. By any which way we would find a way to win the game. But as it is none of us are bothered about Bowyer least of all Peterborough and the focus is on the team. It's a must win but definitely do not lose. Lose this and other results go against us and it really is curtains for us in League 1.

I think he prioritised the wrong areas.

Steve, you didn’t get the job. Move on.

You don’t even work here any more. You can’t keep coming in unannounced

Been our best player in the last two games, which I attended. We could have Messi in the team and our inability to defend would still render him underwhelming.
