    We had a good goalie, we still have. He just needs a kick up the arse to switch back on. The crap defence in front of him doesnt help, the odd verbal with the crowd moaning about it him kicking it 70 yards to bashful and sleepy doesnt help, but most of all it was the ridiculous decision of a certain mr D Hopkin to get shut of the goalkeeping coach which almost certainly superseded the other two

    Sorry I meant second goal keeper, I am fine with O’Donnell, but if he gets injured we don’t really have a good one to replace him.

    Surprised to read a stat that O'Donnell has the 5th best clean sheet record in this division so far this season with 11. Yet we have the 2nd worst record in the total amount we have conceded

    Why's he not very good?

    10/11 clean sheets this season playing with a defence like we've had and fans pick out a couple of mistakes.

    Saved us from a hiding on numerous amounts of time.

    I like O'Donnell and think he is OK but as we can see if he gets injured no one has any confidence in Wilson.

    Don't think it's a confidence thing I think it's an unknown as we've seen very little of Wilson. I think if you asked any fan in the lower leagues how they would feel about the 2nd goalie coming in they'd all feel the same.

    O'Donnell is pretty poor, infact hes been pretty suspect all season, but he gets a free pass because he celebrates goals in front of the kop...


    ....worth giving Wilson a go for me.

    O'Donnell has been suspect all season, but everyone loves him because he shows how much 'passion' he has and plays up to the troglodytes at the top of the kop.

    I suspect any goalie would be suspect in front of our defence. He is League 1 goalie, not PL!

    Ben Wilson has played two matches for us. He's had plenty of practice picking the ball out of his net though, just the 12 times.

    Exactly mate .someone seeing what I have all season poor kicking poor positioning but a good clapper .if we stay up he needs replacing next season .ok for league 2 though

    Might be because the ball is in the sky most of match or in his hands when full backs are screaming for it .he's average keeper but probably best of a bad bunch

    This debate comes up with every keeper we have, it's why they are in league 1. What realistic target would you have in mind as replacement?
