Injuries

    Common theme that is sneaking into every thread at the moment - what is going on?

    Reeves - MIA
    Scannell - Two weeks away for the last two months?
    Woods - Minor injury, nothing since?
    Colville - Seems to make an appearance against Fleetwood and now nothing?

    I know I've more than likely missed some but do the injuries sum up this season? A constant list of injuries and then these players seems to fall into a black hole and hear nothing. Are these players genuinely injured or just don't want to play for the club? Bad communication from the club?

    Thoughts?

    I think we’ve been quite lucky with injuries (unlucky with some whichever way you view it)

    But we’ve consistently picked a similar team compared to previous seasons.

    Maybe a lack of communication on some and I asked this before but do they still do the physio update in the programme on a match day? That might have answers

    Do we have aliens down at our training ground? They go off with a knock, a week maybe 2, but our lot go missing forever? I want a proper assessment of Scannell, we have been told for the last two months he is just two weeks away, plus @Bronco@Bronco has seen him training. Under 19’s have put him on their bus to take him home lol

    What about an Alex Jones with great goals-to-minute ratio?

    He's allegedly made 5 appearances for Cambridge....

    Does anyone know if Woods is fit?
    If he is he goes straight back in at left back
    Mellor must start in the wide centre midfield role he had in our good spell in Dec.He was ODonnell's target man for clearances as he has the physique to handle the first ball aerial battle we have not got anywhere else in midfield.Being basically a defender he worked really well with the marauding Caddis up and down the right side filling in when Caddis went forward.
    If Caddis is unfit would use Mellor at right back with Ball in front of him as the midfielder.

    I hope Scannell can show the level of performance most of us had hoped for when he signed, if there's a time to show it that would be be now.

    The only hero I could associate with Jake Reeves is who ever looks after him on a daily basis, they must be sick of his face and deserve the title of hero.

    Don’t know what it is, but your post nearly always have me laughing. He isn’t Mr 2 weeks now he has shortened it to 1 week, progress to show the new manager he is willing lol

    It’s always the case. Poor season generally results in more injuries.
