    We need the best man for the club mate! Simple.

    Huddersfield Town, Brentford, Norwich to name a few didn't hire people who won promotion.

    Interview the people and the one that impresses gets the club with a clear vision should get the job.

    I'm not convinced we will get out of the league 2 in the first attempt if we do go down.

    So it doesn't matter that a manager who has the experience of all that's required in getting a club promoted, doesn't have the edge over a rookie manager ?.

    Nolan would be uninspiring for me. Failed at Notts county so why would he work here?

    My top 3 would be Hurst, Bowyer and Appleton. Be happy with any of them 3. All have promotions on their cv and can work under a budget

    Those of us who actually go! We have no choice in the matter.

    There is a contingent (some who post on here) who say they are Bradford City fans, but do not actually support the team, by going to a match on a regular basis.

    I sometimes think some of them get a perverse pleasure when City lose! It is a 'I told you so' attitude, sometimes amounting to smugness!

    Just a small point for some on here, who keep banging on about certain managers who have gained promotion. I guess there are some who will continue to achieve promotion, but how many have had more than one and with different clubs.

    All these managers who have gained promotion, will have to get their first one somewhere! Past success is not a guarantee, that they will repeat the process!

    It would be foolish to base the decision on managers who have won just one promotion as in some cases it is the squad built by a predecessor or a number two who are as much responsible for that success, Much more reliable is if they have followed that up with either another promotion or near miss, Where the club was when they joined and when they left is as much a judgement call,

    To be fair his win rate in his short time at Orient and Notts county is over 40% which is ok
