What next ????

I don't think anyone could get this far unscathed into the season we've had without being able to talk the talk. Seem to understand the problems we have but clearly has no idea what to do to solve them.

 

I agree I don't think for one minute this odious man would be considered for the position of manager at Valley Parade.

if the managerial position is to go to steve evans then so be it. people seem to have short memories as bradford city fans - we've previously employed ex-inmates, people with quite serious criminal convictions and laud them as club heroes. we also currently have a member of the squad suspended and under investigation for suspicion of sexual assault.

yet steve evans isn't allowed to step near the football club? when did people become so hypocritical. i thought we were meant to be a country that favours rehabilitation and giving people a chance to rectify their mistakes - or does this only matter when it suits us?

 

Anyone noticed that Kevin Nolan has dropped massively in the betting? I know it’s easy to be backed in on a managers market but he was 20/1 this morning now into 7/2

 

Not sure about other's reasons for not wanting him but personally I do not believe his abrasive and divisive style of management is what we need right now.

 

if he turned us into sh*thouses for the next 11 games who scraped staying up by a single goal i wouldn't care. short-term until the end of the season and we re-evaluate in may.

 

It would be the ultimate low in my view. The sight of him with the club badge on his chest would finish me off. I doubt very much if he could keep this team up, so as with any manager it is gamble, and why bother with a divisive obnoxious individual like him.

He had a decent win ratio at Notts Co, and they have nosedived since getting rid of him.
I can only assume they got rid because he couldnt get them promoted after being in such a good position to do so?

I am really surprised no one from the media as commented on a potential managerial candidate that was supposed to be in the stand yesterday near to where the commentators sit, perhaps it was a no show from Gary Bowyer.
Having said that he might have used a bit of tact and not put him self in the spotlight, would have been bad move to upstage the armband incident which will inevitably seal our fate won't it.
Come on Rupp and Rhodes let's have some clarification of your managerial intentions.

No reason for a potential manager to turn up to the game.

Rhodes and the board are doing the right thing in not saying anything. Let them do what they need to do. I am sure by Tuesday/Wednesday we will know who the new manager in and what the contract length is etc.

Bowyer' odds are going out. You would of thought he would be like 1-5 on now. He's still odds on but only just at 8/11.

The massive mover a real market mover is Nolan who is now 7/2 and coming down all the time.

Nolan is a great shout by the way. These players need someone they can look up too and respect! Someone who is recently out of the game.

For the record an old friend of mine who has done some work for Radio Solent in the past told me Bowyer would be there,that's it.
