Given that Lawrence's win rate @ BCAFC is about 50% better are they comparable?

 

Yes lets keep him even if obviously costing us points with the worst win record in our modern history, But as you say lets just keep him even if he takes us to non league football

Completely different circumstances though.

Hopkin could have a lesser win rate but have still done a better job than Lawrence such were our short term aims in both periods.

 

And the worst squad in our recent history. Who’d have thought the two might go hand in hand eh?

On paper we have some decent players, he has had his transfer window which he promised he would be ready for, yet we are still drifting to relegation with barely a whimper

We had 10 points at the start of November and had scored 12 goals.

We were 7 points off of safety and getting battered every week.

Of course we are putting up a fight. We are one point off. Poor result today but it’s not changed much other than we have less time to

On that basis no team would ever sign a player, Hopkin (and the crowd ) knew we needed a good experienced centre back in the transfer window then he signed a reserve CB who could not get in another Div 1 side and in reality an inexperienced player of no or little use, Same with his other signings he has not improved the team yet other clubs have
The transfer dealings he has made have not improved us yet our fellow relegation candidates have, Is it money or is he out of his depth and players know this and will not come?

 

What? We had no money so we are relying on other teams to not want players to sign them. Or do us a favour like butterfield.

Which team has improved in the bottom 6?

Rochdale one win in 9
Gillingham one win in 7
Shrewsbury one win in 10.

We only need to finish 20th

Butterfield waited wanting better and we had to wait till no one else wanted him before he would sign, As for other results they do not matter if we cannot win our own games and Hopkins record suggests we cannot
