Well Edin put his life savings into the club so hasn’t now got a pot to piss in.
Without Rupp’s cash we’re pretty much screwed and in a worse position than under Lawn / Rhodes

 

The plot thickens!
If this is true then i find that a bit worrying. Who buys Rupp out , Lawn?? Then we would have two owners that are really hands on.

 

if it was lawn we would also be back to having 2 owners who in football terms don't have a pot to piss in financially

 

I still don’t see what Rupp gets from his investment in us. He’s not interested in football, it would appear, and all the evidence suggests we’d have to spend a lot of money before we might actually make anything.

Perhaps he’s now understood that.

Strange it may seem I don’t read WOAP. I prefer my own opinions frankly. At least on C&B and now this site you can enter into a debate. You can’t do that with WAOP. The responses to some of the articles you refer to, that I have seen on a Twitter, are bordering on “adoration”, which I think is creepy

 

I would be interested to know the nature of the agreement between Edin and Stefan ?

 

If anyone has a clause in their contract and wasn’t paid, the PFA would be involved. It wouldn’t be allowed to happen. At least for this one in your list, I don’t believe.

 

I think the players/players threatened to contact the PFA which did the trick, but speculation on my part. There is usually some snippet of truth in these type of rumours.

 

Agree all the way. I don't think many people if any expected our current owners to buy the club into the Championship but the reason for selling to them was because they could give us that extra push.

Rahic and Rupp could make a statement regarding the current perceived situation and say they understand and are taking steps move things positively forward, backed up by actions of course.

If the club goes backward long term they will lose their investment.

 

The rumour mill as certainly been in overdrive this season.
Probably more frequent than some local bus services.
If there is any truth in Ownership unrest surely this can not be kept under wraps for long.
If one or both want to move on then so be it,but don't be secretive about it.
Supporters have spent good money already on next season's product.
The least they can do is put out a statement either quashing this rumour or telling us their future plans for the club going forward.

 

Edin apart,Gregg and Simon seem happy with their player recruitment plans for next season. They surely would now be in any loop that threatened their combined efforts.

 

I would like to think so,but you just don't know anymore, it's been a crazy time of late.

Is it a combined effort. Greg is off on sick leave and Simon’s contract runs out in a couple of weeks time

 

Maybe not now ,but according to both, plans are made and have been discussed with Edin as late as last week.

 

There doesn't seem to be much "togetherness" between the two owners. I think there could be some truth in the rumours. We'll definitely be seeing some movements both on and off the pitch this summer for sure.
From what I can gather, after watching the film they made, Rupp was approached by Edin purely for financial reason. I'm not suprised Rupp doesn't get involved with communication etc, but as the majority holder, it would be interesting to hear his take on his investment now and again.

 

Ian Miller is more than capable of taking over the recruitment side of things while Abbott recuperates.
He did a good job at Preston alongside Simon.
