was never going to happen on a match-day, not really sure why anyone thought it would.

 

Could take weeks to finalise.. I don't know why people are thinking it's just something that happens overnight.. especially when the selling party probably doesn't actually want to sell

 

if there’s even anything to finalise. could be a simple restructuring of the club in that the owners take a backseat and rhodes now finds himself in the position he put mason in, i.e. day-to-day running of the club. let’s face it, as much as anyone likes to think they know - nobody actually knows until the club release a statement.

 

I tried finding out a timescale but couldn’t get a definitive answer. It’ll be sooner rather than later we’ve just got to be patient I imagine, as frustrating as that can be.

Sure. A reliable friend let me know yesterday that ER is definitely on his way out, and that they are just dealing with the formalities, paperwork and whatever else needs sorting before an announcement can be made.

I asked if we had any idea of what sort of timescale before it's official and I couldn't get a definitive response. I can't keep badgering for more at this stage.

We just need to be patient.

Just to say I'm not ITK but, he invited a lot of his mates to Saturday's game as it would be the last chance they would get to watch "his" team!

You really are in top form this morning! If he was able to release that kind of information I am sure he would have already posted. Tweaking questions is your speciality I realise that. In this particular instance you will get to the point of rubbishing the info provided as it cannot be substantiated.

 

I don't know why people even bother asking this question.. surely everyone is fully aware sources are not going to be named.

It's like people ask just so they can get angry and have a go at the person posting the info.

They then moan and say "I wish people wouldn't bother posting if they're not gonna provide evidence" I mean it's a forum for people to voice their news it would be dead and shut down if people just kept everything to themselves.

 

So no timeframe.

Ok that rubbish. If they're dealing with paperwork etc then an approximate timeframe would be known.
