The more I read @brisbanebantams posts the more I believe he has connections with the club.

 

what you believe and what is true is far from accurate..

indeed you do, but i do not work for bradford city. i wish i did and then may be i could put some of these rumours re inner workings and the current situation to bed.

 

ok he made *@?$ ups but I find it very strange that you think he purposely destroyed his own investment. inept is very different from malicious.

 

The rumours that have been posted on here over the last two years have been shown in many cases to be correct, and the comment from Edin with regards "you have to take me seriously I know football" has well and truly put to bed.

 

And in many cases to be false. Yes I blame him for our present league position because of the summer dealings.but there has been a witch hunt by people who have had their noses pushed out of the trough. And now the situation is untenable.
Unless any new owner or part owner hit the ground running they will have to watch their backs

 

This didn't start going wrong in the summer, unless you've been on the international space station for the last 6 months and missed the implosion.

 

All fans can be annoying, some more so than others.

that's the beauty of the written word. interpretation is in the eye of the reader. I read it that way as maybe I couldn't believe someone could get that angry if it was meant any other way. To destroy something also kind of involves a malicious act in my eyes. You do seem to be on a crusade to proof your angrier than most and more entitled to be angrier than most. In fact displaying a few traits similar to the man you are castigating. Now if it was the Blackpool chairman or the Charlton one the outright hatred would be more justified. I'm pissed off with him but I still genuinely hold the thought that they started off with all good intentions. Tried to change too much too soon without listening to experts and then too arrogant or stubborn to stop quickly. won't be the first or last people to do that

 

May be the guy he's talking about didnt realise he was being malicious he was so wrapped up in his arrogant and stubborn self he was determined to see it through no matter at what cost to the club ?.
Making the comment during the closed season "the next appointment has to be right for the club" then goes onto appoint two rookies, maybe not malicious just bloody stupidity.
I'm sure he/they did start off with good intentions they even quoted in the T&A our way of achieving success was one of the reasons they bought the club, and from the word go change the very format of why they said they'd bought the club.

 

very true. I can't argue against any of that. I might be going a bit soft as I get older. I just see so many divisions and anger in the world lately and people taking advantage of those that if rather it be the case that we accept mistakes and move on as long as people change or do things different. The opposite never seems to achieve much. sorry bit too deep for a Tuesday morning.

 

I agree I wish we were talking about the football rather than the owners.

I agree Dave. I'm sure Edin genuinely believed he could come in with his ideas from German football and revolutionise our club to success. He had a five year plan to get us into the PL, which he persuaded Rupp to finance. He thought it would take a couple of seasons of change in L1 mid table before his new team of wunderkinds would rip up the division, storm into the Championship and on into the Prem.
He clearly didn't realise how difficult and expensive it would be to make that plan work and had no Plan B to arrest the slide when it all started going belly up. His pride and stubbornness wouldn't let him admit that the plan (or maybe the way he was implementing it) was fatally flawed and he just kept making the same mistakes over and over.
I'd love to know what Rupp makes of it all now. He's not an ardent football fan, nor an old mate of Rahic, and was obviously persuaded in to finance the project by Edin's promises of glory and financial killing. The events of 2018 must have left him bewildered. It seems he has started putting some additional short term funds in to try to prevent relegation. But longer term, does he stick or twist?
