To be fair to Isherwood (I've only seen him on highlights), a lot of defenders would struggle with the complete lack of protection ahead of them that we have seen so much this season. Now we have that resolved with Karl Henry and there will be another experienced voice in Paul Caddis alongside him, lets see how he does.

 

I am. Hoping to see lots of effort again. Not optimistic for a result, but you never know.

I’m quite sure there will be away tickets available from the ticket office. I’ll call Luton tomorrow and confirm back on here what they say.

 

If NKP remains banned then I do worry. I wonder if we go 5 at the back and take the approach of quantity rather than quality at the back. Maybe Isherwood, McGowen and Chicksen with Caddis and Wood as wingbacks.

Then have Henry Payne and O’Brien in midfield and Bruenker and Doyle up top.

I thought it was only games that coincided with International breaks that were available that way.

 

Is anyone going or know of a good pub to meet in.

 

According to football ground guide, it seems we are limited to a town centre Wetherspoons (15 min walk from ground) or a conservative club with parking for £5 (5 min walk from ground). It is worth reading the Sunderland fan's review on FGG. They seem to advise that if choosing the conservative club, do not use the pay and display machine in the car park but instead enter the club and put your reg into the tablet there and hand over your fiver. This is probably what I'll be doing for a couple of beers before the match.
