Try going down to VP where all the coaches are setting off, although not sure what time. They will probably have a spare seat.

 

Very bizarre if truth be told.

1] How can you not book the train tickets properly?

2] How have you only realised in the early hours that you’ve not booked the train and have no means of getting there?

3] If you’d have bought the match ticket a few hours earlier (by 5pm) you’d have a free coach seat.

 

Unfortunately the coaches are full.

 

You are wrong on three. My wife went to get tickets yesterday afternoon but they had stopped selling then at 12.00 o’clock. The free travel had sold out. My fault for not booking earlier but thats not what the OP is asking about.

 

I’ll go but I have a Porsche Cayanne 4 litre. Petrol cost is £140 so that’s £70 if you wanna go?

Good effort despite the free travel considering how we are performing and where we are in league. I was tempted, but not quite enough to take it up. If it had been closer, then I would.

Why does everything have to be a mystery/conspiracy? The lad, for whatever reason, needs transport to an away game and is asking for help and willing to contribute to costs. Personally i admire his enthusiasm. Good luck to him.

 

Sorry just thought they might have a few spare seats, but there is an offer of transport but might be a bit steep. However you will get there and back pdq
