bit of a bizarre one, this. While he's only 16 and cannot be on much money, I would have though the more pressing matter would have been trying to pump in as many resources as possible in the first team to try prevent us going down?

When the first team is in good order, then worry about signing long-term prospects. We don't even know who the manager will be at the end of the season, nor who will be running the club!

 

So we signed a kid who could be anything yet its a waste of time..its fairly obvious the free agents wanted too much money as hopkin alluded to, and we cant sign anyone to strengthen the squad for six more weeks yet. Good to see, the old City supporter ideal of writing a signing off before its even confirmed hasnt wained during the last few months

 

I assume this lad hasn’t been brought in for the first team so I can’t see a problem. We still have the junior teams in the club to look after or are people suggesting we pack them all in and just have the one squad?

 

I don't in the least mind them taking a punt on young players..as long as it is done through someone with expertise. And a track record of doing so successfully.

 

Lets concentrate on our senior squad
Why bring a 16 year-old over from Norway. He will still cost money to keep and who is wasting time scouting that level. I hope this is a wind up .

 

Wonder when DH got the time to go check him out and agree he'd be a good addition??

 

Why aren’t they concentrating on young footballers locally? That is what would like to see. Plus it won’t cost hardly anything as they will continue to live at home.

I believe Edin scouted him whilst on half term holiday, bring enough in and you might get lucky.........................but I wouldn't put money on it.

Says he's been given a professional contract and goes into the development squad. Yet our development squad, if it even still exists, don't play competitive games anymore. You couldn't make this up!

I searched google and came up with a retired speed skater ?
Tried again and came up with this kid he as scored 16 goals in 11 games. That means nothing at his age I scored 16 goals in one day on Harden rec .
