I personally think you are being very harsh there and being childishly simplistic. Anyway regardless of your point its clear he's not here to manage the finances so you don't need to worry.

 

I think I agree with you mate.

Rahic has no common sense or man management abilities and should be nowhere near our club. At least that's how I read the situation.

 

I think it is you who are a bit childish, If he has no control or input in to finances and no involvement in the playing and coaching then why is he here, He is here to advise on all areas of running the business and PR side of the club and seeing his record in football management running BCFC of 2 admins and a near liquidation while taking £4Million out of the club is not a record that instils confidence it is right to question what he will bring to the club.

 

What is he here for then? Playing upfront on Saturday?

 

We are desperately short of a big target man in the shape of Sir Bobby or Lee Mills we are also short of a player capable of feeding off him to get the goals we are also short of a midfield general and a commanding centre half
Basically we needed a new team

 

Doyle can be that man to feed off of him. Two up top, Payne in behind. Decent side then.

The fact we've got so many injured, we're like any club and having to use the youngsters or the fact that if you take the first team, it was expected to be by now, there wouldn't be a single 'youngster' in it. Mellor would be played instead of Riley. Chicksen instead of Wood. The midfield could be any four from Reeves, Wright, Akpan, Payne, Scannell and then Doyle and Ball up top. Only Miller perhaps would get into this team

Note, I'm not saying it's a great team - but I don't know where you're coming from. To me this 'yoof' policy got largely abandoned this summer. We've only invested in a limit number of decent youngsters, like Miller, Riley, O'Brein (albeit he's on loan and Wood) - yet we signed six 'first teamers' and got Payne on loan - followed by Ball and the older O'Brien

I don't see much dedication to 'yoof' right now, myself - if we look at what we've actually signed

I think your right, the youth development project looks to have been abandoned. A good thing in my view as they won't fund it properly and independently of the first team.
