Absolutely! Playing like this in D4 we'd still be in deep trouble and at risk of non-league.
Lets see how we do against Aldershot. :confounded::unsure:

Julian still attends games and has lost none of his enthusiasm for the club, he will have taken this position on because he still very much cares about Bradford City Football Club.

How could he not realise the error of his ways? He's single handedly decimated the club. Whilst it might be better to have someone with Julian Rhodes' experience consulting, it's a sticking plaster at best. Edin Rahic is not capable, experienced or secure enough to be involved in running a professional football club. What single positive thing does he add? Unless he is completely sidelined Rhodes may end sustaining the current "model" and managing a slightly slower decline.

    Don't worry.

    We're in for Kieffer Moore.

I get that but we know he can't do anything about it until January. A good manager would adapt to the players he has available.

Might help if he had players available. I'm confident to say that if we had a full compliment of players then we would have more points on the board, albeit every club has injuries

Thats not true, thats whay managers sign thier own players when they go into a club. Theres a reason a manager loses his job in the first place, because the players aint getting him the results, its very rare that a manager can completely turn things around with that same group of players. The odd time you get new manager syndrome where the results are great for a bit, then they revert to type. 4 managers haven’t got a tune out of bradford city in the best part of twelve months. Its not the manager thats at fault, the inherent fault lies elsewhere.

I think what ppl are saying is the manager didn’t choose these players nor the style of football we are playing. Who ever did choose them did not have a plan or the plan was unrealistic given the quality of the players. So he is trying to mould the best way he can, not good!! I am just hoping for some much overdue luck tbh.

Absolutely agree about recruitment. The defence and midfield options are shite no two ways about it. But we have attacking players with some quality and pedigree which is why I don't think we should be struggling for goals as much as we are.

I "feel" nothing will change your mind

"Its clear to all of us that all those two want is to keep developing youth at any expense" What are you basing this on? The fact we've got so many injured, we're like any club and having to use the youngsters or the fact that if you take the first team, it was expected to be by now, there wouldn't be a single 'youngster' in it. Mellor would be played instead of Riley. Chicksen instead of Wood. The midfield could be any four from Reeves, Wright, Akpan, Payne, Scannell and then Doyle and Ball up top. Only Miller perhaps would get into this team

Note, I'm not saying it's a great team - but I don't where you're coming from. To me this got largely abandoned this summer. The idea was that we sign decent youngsters, like Miller, Riley, O'Brien (albeit he's on loan) and Wood who would develop. But in fairness we also signed six decent more experienced pro's (or so we thought at the time) plus Payne on loan. I don't see how this can possibly been seen as "developing you at any expense"

Yes but they are relying on the midfield for service, they are not the kind of players that can drop back into midfield and pick up the ball. I would play Seedorf, and I know he is inconsistent, but he can play players in, and we also might be better if Scannell can get his act together. I would always play Payne, he is one of our better players, although Ball played reasonable well in that position the other day. It is conundrum, I always prefer attacking football, but right now I would settle for not getting slapped every week.

Oh Joy, We are relying on the guy who drove us to 2 administrations and close to liquidation to step in and get us out of trouble,
Now I really know we are deep in it

Can’t see how not wanting to read the same regurgitated twaddle on a new thread makes me a ‘fascist’, but hey-ho we all have an opinion.
