Personally speaking, I think we should just get a refund from them. The weather is unlikely to improve now and as the nights are closing in, by the time we play at home again in the league (24 Nov), it may be pretty dark at 3pm.

But what should be done with the money? A big flag that reads “Rupp & Rahic out - you’re destroying us” and this can be used at every game, prior to kick off, as it is passed along Midland Road (opposite the Director’s Box)?

 

Are you for real? It’s common knowledge that Julian was the ‘silent partner’ when we were in the Premier League and that it was Richmond that got us relegated and into the first Admin. The only mess that Rhodes delivered was to sell Windass and JJ, sack Todd and put Wethers in charge. He was culpable for that relegation but I’m not sure it’s fair to blame all of them at his door.

 

Ironic really the whole banner thing seems to reflect the very thing its designed to protest against. Money spent and protest ordered. Defiant pig-headed response shown to dissenters. Promised event fails to materialise. Events overtake the protest rendering it irrelevant. Period follows where no-one seems to know what to do next.

Nothing has changed. If anything, it proves even more why we want these two numpties out. They can't run a club, so they have to bring in the person they bought out back. On an advisory basis! You couldn't make this up.
Going back to my analogy of girlfriends (I was referring to the Darby night and our current crop of players), this is akin to me ringing up my current girlfriends ex, and asking him where her G Spot is.

Has anything changed, they have employed someone to help to try turn a very worrying stiuation around.
The banner was always in protest that those who subscribed wanted both Rahic & Rupp out, so whats changed ?.

 

I say we still do it. Nothing has changed. We seem certain to be relegated, probably as bottom club. Rahic has ripped the heart and soul out of the club to the point of where it is unrecognisable as the entity they bought into. Bringing in Rhodes is a PR stunt to deflect from Rahic, but be sure that the mastermind of this disaster is very much still at the core of operations.

24th could be a glorious day. It's November in Yorkshire, not midwinter in Siberia. And it would have to be an unbelievable shocker of a day to be 'pretty dark' at 3pm.
