    I've read Simon's exclusive story on the T&A and what I gleaned was;

    1. Julian will be with the club for some time - he has to be to build a relationship with David as stated in the story.
    2. Given 1 it seems to infer Edin will have less contact with David
    3. Edin and Stefan are not going anywhere yet (sorry Bronco and South Yorks/twinny/whoever you are today but look at Julian's quote on who looked to invest) it's stated they've made an investment and they still see it as an investment
    4. The only potential chance of them leaving would be if we stay up. If we're relegated they'd stay on rather than sell at a loss.

Still think we need to find a way to support the team and make it known our protest against the owners.

You might be right. Still, imagine him picking up the phone and asking Julian to help. It would have been an interesting call to listen in on! Certainly not an easy one for someone who is said to have a large ego!

For someone with such a fragile ego this must have been difficult.

Fully agree it looks like the boycotting as moved them, but for me it's much of the same, there is no way I'm going until those two are out of the door.

Whilst I welcome Julian's return I can not help feeling, apart from the absence of Mark Lawn of course that we have come full circle for absolutely nothing
What a sad state of affairs we are in having to bring back one of the old guard.
What happened to the vision proposed by Rahic and Rupp?
Simple answer really it's in the bin because it doesn't work
Good Luck with this one Julian you'll need it in bucket loads.

I'm still not sure what he can do though? He can advise the owners to open up their wallets - but that's not going to happen until January. The team is playing terribly, and the manager can only work with what he's got. Other than trying to cheer David up by letting him know he's going to be able to rebuild his entire squad in January, what's he gonna do - serve free hot wine and mince pies on the terraces?

My fear is that he's going to be doing prep work for the transfer window, but we're going to be too far adrift then to be saved.

Absolutely the whole club has gone pear shaped and in a downward spiral, the only thing he can attempt is trust back into the fan base, I honestly can't see these two changing, on the playing side we are now adrift, the whole shambles has been caused by pig headed ness nothing else !

Only time will tell but getting our club stable is welcome.

As fans the only way is to attend games, I think they are well aware how the majority of Bradford City fans feel about them, but we'll remind them before the Oxford game, although it looks like some want to cancel it because they have brought Julian on board.

    What's your end game then?

Given that Rhodes has given a stark reminder at how little interest he had in the club during his 19 years - who's coming in to invest more?

Rupp is bang in trouble. Things are not good behind the scenes.

Because he has to. You simply assume that nobody ever learns. In addition, there is a football equivalent - namely Vincent Tan

Both. Intelligence, is no measure for how much commonsense a person has or how great their man-management skills are

Intelligent people are often the last people you want running a company as some of them assume everyone is on their 'wavelength'

We probably need 40 points from 29 matches, which will give 50 points. That's an average 1.38 points per match. Unless the minimum has suddenly gone up to 55 points

Forgetting the Peterborough match, we need to close the gap at the rate of two points per five games, i.e. after 20 matches using this theory, we'd be a point clear of relegation

    Obviously, easier said than done!!

Its an issue, but I wonder if certain key figures and businessmen would allow the club to fold after all these years.

    I think not.

I doubt JR would have any truck with a PR stunt, he is not the type. My best guess is that he is here to help Rahic, but I doubt he will be here for very long if his pearls are rejected!

Somewhere on twitter someone has posted the stats from 2004 of how many teams have stayed up from our position and its grim reading. Thats not to say we cannot achieve the task ahead but the stats are massively against us. The management will be reminding the players that it can be done but it would need a massive turn around of a team that at this moment cannot defend, cannot score and struggles to create. I fear the problems of the make up of the squad not allowing Hopkin to play his style to its full potency. Without that targetman Hopkin's style of player will not get us out of this mess. Someone like Lyle Taylor would have been an ideal foil for Eoin Doyle.

I think in the first instance, this will take the heat off Rahic, but if things don't improve,Julian will no doubt be blamed, even though he's trying to help from a very disadvantaged position.

If there is improvement, I think Rahic will want to take the wheel again and be seen to be in charge and taking credit.Julian may find after a while his advice being rejected and told where he stands and who owns the club.

I hope I'm wrong but Rahic has shown who he is and Leopards don't change their spots!

I think it's more a case of rebuilding the trust between the football side of things and the running of the club.
Staff turnover has been staggeringly high (with a lot of great people gone). A lot of good footballers have gone too.
The atmosphere within the club over the last 12 months must have been extremely toxic.
This is not conducive to success or highly motivated, happy and confident staff or players.

It's gonna take a miracle (and lots of money), and a change of policy to turn this around.
With any luck the change of policy is already in effect.
