Couldn't argue with that too much. We need fewer players, of much better quality.

 

Could be a lot of upheaval for one transfer window but its badly needed.

I see at most one or two having a long term future at city, the rest get shut.

 

Only a slight adjusment required --- 11 players to start with .

 

That won't happen in January, but we could start by offloading players who serve zero purpose.

As much as I'd like to come to terms on the release of Jones and Reeves, it's more realistic to release Clare, Hawkes, Devine and Isherwood, while trying to 'move on' the likes of Brunker, Chicksen and NKP. If possible, seek offers for Akpan, Wright and Gibson, players who may have a small transfer value.

Worryingly, we could lose eight players in January and it wouldn't make the slightest bit of difference.

I didn't even include our own, local youngsters, who could plug any gaps left in reserve team games.

 

We do, but it in all honesty, who the hell is going to want to come to us in January? Any players of quality will be in high demand and will have much better options than coming to a side at the bottom of the table who allegedly don't pay the best wages.

 

I agree. We're in a mess.
