Never take the stats to give a true reflection of a game. We won at Shrewsbury but if i recall we didn't have shot on goal.

It wasn't good but if you're suggesting Southend were two goals better than us on the day I'll have to disagree, never a classic, but once again they took their chances we didn't, it was as simple as that.

 

that sums the match up we missed some great chances they scored theirs. Southend were no better than us our finishing was abysmal and there was a master class in back passing from a master

 

We had the deflected shot but the stats were still correct, Shrewsbury had 11 shots 3 on target yet we had the one and scored from it and won the game, without doubt they were the better team on the day, but possession wise it was very close, I thought the last 30 minutes we defended very well, and posted such at the time.

I don't even bother looking at the stats anymore, watching the game on TV or live gives a far better representation of the game. As for the Southend game, it was the usual story of going one behind and our balls dropped. We look stronger and have a better shape about us with four at the back but whats playing Lund on the left all about? He looked better when we moved him infield. There was little in it till they scored their first but after that we reverted to our usual crap self.

 

He's not saying that he's saying it was a poor match, it wasn't a classic but I'm sure with regards shots on target they are pretty accurate the saves Oxley made to keep out Guy and the double saves he made from Dieng’s header he parried away but Poleon should have buried.

 

I actually thought we made more chances than most matches recently.Poleon should have scored from a header first half and the one second half. The finishing was very poor

if anyone thinks Saturday was anything more than completely and utterly dreadful then you're more than willing to accept relegation next season.

it was awful, god awful. hopeless, clueless and completely inept. if that represents an okay performance then next season could be even worse than I'm already predicting. Saturday was as bad as we've seen all season at home. and I include Wimbledon in that.
