I’m hoping they will deliver. Both are successful business men and won’t want to lose money. Why spend 6 figures on the pitch if you intend to put a substandard team on there to play? In terms of past recruitment I blame Abbot, no way should some of the dross been even close to being presented to the owners. Most on here were sceptical when they became known and to think we paid good money too. Maybe he was taken in by the agents videos of their players, who knows.

One things for certain, Steven Spielberg couldn’t make a video to show any of this lot in a good light !

There were some poor results under Stuart without doubt or he would have still been our manager, but "This team are gutless, spineless and without any sort of leadership quality" I'm not to sure there were many games that this comment was applicable.

Have you forgotten about January already? Today’s performance was better than some in January

I'm assuming your "spoilt" adjective is tongue in cheek Bronco. The players assembled previously, (with one or two exceptions) played with pride and passion. That might have been for the club, the manager, the pay packet or whatever, but as fans, we were made to feel a part of something. Right now, I've not felt this detached for a very long time.

No I have not forgotten there were some poor result as I answered above, but not to the extent of that particular comment, of course that's only IMO.

They can take some of the blame but at the end of the day it was Edin who signed them and his model that led to them being identified in the first place.
Whichever way we dress it up, everything that has gone wrong leads back to the Edin and only he can put it right by spending money on the right type of players.

No tongue in cheek at all I think until quite recently neither Phil Parkinson's or Stuarts teams could be classed as "This team are gutless, spineless and without any sort of leadership quality" there have been some very poor results Bristol City in Phil's time bad result but on the night and most of that season when Bristol put their game together which they did on that night not many teams could live with them, and even though we got tonked with regards the scoreline against Wimbledon we had plenty of the ball but they caught us cold on the break, as we did against Peterborough.

That's just not true. Doyle, mcmahon, killa, Guy, Wyke, gillead, law, warnock have ability.

Can't we merge with Guiseley and solve all our problems at a stroke?

Wrong team mate, BPA are the team on the up with a billionaire chairman in Gareth Roberts, shame he was born in
Holme Wood, and brought up a "Stan".

He has said there will need to be cut backs after he buys the club back as they have over spent this year and their current spending isn’t feasible

Not sure if this is the correct saying, but the owners need to either "piss or get off the pot". I'm happy for them to come out and say mistakes have been made this season, and we are looking to rectify it in the summer. Everyone deserves a second chance, Lawn wouldn't have lasted long enough for a promotion if that wasn't the case. But it's now very much crunch time.

So onto dishing out blame for the shower of a season, owners/Abbott definitely deserve plenty. I actually think the "plan" is a decent idea, a good youth set up and development squad is important for a strong future. But it takes investment, not cuts, if they want it to work you actually have to invest more than our previous strategy because it can't be done at the cost of the first team, that's the main money maker at any club and the bread and butter.
Managers, some but all managers make mistakes throughout a season, helps if the tools don't go blunt in January.
Players, most definitely. For me they should be ashamed, Blame Edin all you want but we weren't doing to shabby at one stage in 3rd beating the likes of Wigan and Shrewsbury away. They blatantly stopped trying in January (with the exception of Robinson, Guy and Doyle), regardless of off field issues it's unforgivable, Bolton didn't get paid twice last season and still went up.

To be honest if everyone from the Chairmen down left in the summer (except Mason and other staff behind the scenes), then I wouldn't bat an eye lid at the moment. I've given Doyle my POTS vote as I felt him, Robinson and Guy are the only ones who can hold their heads up high for giving their all throughout the season.

The bright side is, we are still Bradford City. We've come back from far worse, we still play in Claret and Amber and still play at Valley Parade, so there's still hope for the future. The fans and community make this club not the staff, who are always temporary in the long run.

    Big summer ahead.

No Beni, I have zero faith in the owners. All the noise coming out of the club or lack of leaves me really worried for the future. I literally wouldn’t trust Edin to run me a bath never mind my football club. All those who said we should welcome our new owners with caution have been proved to be bang on the money so far. We’ve regressed as a club and completely lost the momentum we’ve built up over the last five years or so and the blame lays squarely at the feet of a certain Edin Rahic. But don’t worry he knows football so I’m sure all will be reet.
