    I have friends who are Oldham fans and when we use to play, them we always use to meet up for a prematch beer. Not even on the radar this time. Says a lot!

    I thought it was a league game for some reason until I realised they are in league 2, it could be a league game next season though

    Not sure if I agree with this, those returning from injuries need to get a run out somewhere and this cup might help but as well as that the club just needs to start winning some matches again. Those who are currently playing and have regained some of the necessary fitness levels are just as likely to pick up a knock or strain in training

    Ah thats another question - would hope Josh Wright and perhaps Alex Jones will get some game time at Oldham. Until the Jan transfer window players like Isherwood, Seedorf, Brunker etc need to be kept as match fit as possible - and I do realise as I am typing this that it shows what a state we are in!

    Play the kids, take the fine. We can't afford anymore injuries or suspensions. League survival is more important than this tinpot competition.
