- Losses 17 (rank 12/13, worst was O'Connor with 21 in 95 minutes)
- Losses in own half 4 (rank 7/13)

In addition, he was the most passed to City player, receiving 20 passes in 69 minutes (L O'Brien was 2nd most passed to player, receiving 18 in 95 minutes) but his goal threat was absolutely zero.

What does that show? Probably that he wasn't very good with the ball, especially in the final 3rd but he worked harder than anyone else in the team, was a valuable outlet for our defence/midfield and despite his obvious limitations he was still one of our most productive players. He's not letting anyone down with his performances, the people who should be getting grief are those involved in recruitment who have left us short of options up front and all of the more talented players that we have who are doing much less for the team than a big lump who works hard.

Wow.....really? Did you see the game then? Just shows how stats can lie...he didn't get near the ball for first 25 minutes and their defenders had cigars out...he was no where near them at anytime.
Mind you my eldest is at Manchester Uni doing Physics and talks about parallel universes so maybe in a parallel universe Kai is doing all that? Schrodingers Cat?

Not that I am complaining but the last chance why did the ref give the free kick outside of the box as no it wasn't a foul but clearly happened inside the box

 

He initially grabbed him outside the box, which isn't seen on the initial camera angle. The ref got it right except for not giving the advantage signal when the initial foul took place, which would have avoided confusion.

 

Thanks; shame we didn't have that ref in a couple of the previous games

 

Glad this got mentioned as I thought it was a certain penalty from where I was stood on the terraces at Kingsmeadow, with the challenge in the box but couldn't see outside of the box due to the angle of the dugouts, terracing.
