So many good options who are 2 star but play and get good scores yet I get the 3rd on the list and he is only used off the bench Both the two players before him in the list and teh 2 after would have been really useful pulls

 

Sadly i didn't realise that until I spent my gems. Mind you I have noticed that not only is the target lower for cash rewards than in pro but so is the reward. Which just seems crazy. Admittedly getting there will be tough with the international break coming up unless you get very lucky with international players

 

No so much. It's not as fun playing just to hit a set score to try and progress up as leaderboards are and the fact target score and leaderboards are split just complicates things. In fact the whole thing is a mess

• We have leaderboard lineups and target lineups. Having to decide do you put that team in leaderboard or target is a o pain
• The fact target doesn't work on a game week basis is also a pain and gives those with more cards an advanage. With the right cards some people could get through 3 levels in a weekend while others can only do one or 2 if they sacrifice a leaderboard team
• Every comp has different rules, some are 5 players, some are 7 players. Some have sub, some don't.
• And they just keep throwing ideas at the wall that aren't even joined up ideas and then seem to learn nothing from them. In game dev every idea even the failures will generally produce something that can enhance the game and the final product should be bringing all these good things together. They just seem to throw the baby out with the bathwater when something doesn't work even perfectly
• Oh and don't get me started on subs. The fact you still get screwed by a DNP because you choose the wrong sub position while someone else gets rewarded for getting the right one. No-one intentionally picks a DNP, they are all largely unexpected especially now that starting percentages are in the game. How is it fair that everyone doesn't get the same treatment with a DNP? Oh and for in-season its stupid that you can't select a classic card as a sub? As long as him coming on wouldn't result in two classic cards should it matter? Especially when you put out a lineup of full in-season or where you classic is your keeper and you want another classic keeper as a sub

I've said before but the game should be one game mode that brings together everything they have tried. The standard GW based short mode, the target mode, the divisions, score caps and the long game. A game where each specific gw maters for rewards but so does consistency over a long form season. And one that has everyone competing at a level with lineups of the same kind of level, not as they had before with divisions where Div 5 winners lineup would win or be high ion the Div 1 leaderboard, this achieved using score caps so you can start with a cheap team and build your way up division by division improving your gallery just as in real football teams have to improve their squads bit by bit each season


oh and i have a real issue with the Sets game as well.

Did everyone here get the tutorial with the extra packs it gave on each step? I didn't. I just got the starter pack and that was it. I've seen countless youtubers and people on social media including some of the whales who did get the tutorial despite playing every previous set game

Did everyone here get the intro gems offer that basically if you buy all 3 you get 155 gems, 9000 essence, 2 silver packs and a gold pack for under £18? I didn't. My only offers are at £60 and £150 which gets me gems at the normal price and either 2 or 6 gold packs

Did everyone else get the Bronze Keeper pack for 1000 essence? I didn't

Did everyone else get the Silver Keeper pack for 15 gems? This is one I did get but it seems from social media some haven't got this

Did everyone else get the My first silver packs for half the gem cost? I didn't. And those who did were you able to by 2, 3 or 5 of them

The same with my first gold packs for half price. Did everyone here get these? I didn't. And again seems some are getting 2 of these max, some 3 and other 5

And god knows what other offers some are getting that others aren't. How is it fair when there are cash prizes on offer that some are getting offers that make getting to these easier. Both directly by having a greater chance of having good cards but also indirectly because for example the Bronze Keeper pack might be poor but it helps them get closer reaching the collection goals and unlocking those rewards. Its a farce
