Theoretically, is GA going anywhere?

Not a bad shout. I always think that he gets asked too late to save clubs.

 

Possibly some don't realise his connection to the club as its 27 years since he first signed for Preston, although he played there 7 seasons, it will be interesting for sure.

And this is why the expectations at Preston, from the fans, are ridiculous. As that investment, merely ensures you've a chance of staying up and nothing more.

Plus if the club is badly set up, then you can already knock ten points off them.

I think Rupp will invest more if we go up, simply because it's more worth the gamble.

GA would be a risk for any championship club due to not managed there before.
In both Preston's and Burnley's predicaments, they can't afford risk.

Not in the same way as the present or new Preston owners are capable of, Rupp's actually said as much himself, to compete in the Championship owners need to have very deep pockets and although Rupp is a very rich man compare with us (well me) I don't know your financial status he's not in the big hitter league.

Not sure I totally agree with your money alone does not work, I'd suggest it gives you a far better chance than the clubs without money, but all hypothetical at the moment.

While he wouldnt be a fool to hang around, Prestons pull far outweighs ours and his past jobs have absolutely nothing to do with his decision.

Only a bitter fool would hold it against him.

They spent £16m on players in the summer. Around the same as Birmingham, Watford and WBA. Comfortably more than half the division.

For a team that finished 14th, thats enough to try and grab that 8th place.
