Is it a bad draw if we get the winner of Peterborough v Barnsley. I know we wouldn't get as much money but it would give us a great chance of being in the quarter finals.

The Leeds-Chelsea game was bananas.

There was some quality on display there, and for quite a while Leeds looked great - but they conceded a pen and Chelsea just stormed the castle.

 

4th round was Wigan in 2012/13 but yes it was still a disappointing draw. The memories of that night were great though with 5000 fans packing the away end.

 

No, Chelsea should be targeting a top 4 PL finish to ensure CL next season. The cups are irrelevant to them.

 

Yeah, I guess that's why after going 2 goals down the players just threw in the towel.

 

With no European football there's no reason why they can't do both, they've got a squad plenty big enough for. FA Cup isn't until January and there's only 2 more Carabao Cup games before January so lots of time to bank a lot of points before the new year with very little distractions

 

They have 1 game a week this season. Which means this cup does become relevant.

 

We could end up with a long away journey on a Wednesday night just a few days before the Town game at 12.30 on Saturday. Not ideal

 

Many of the PL teams we could face are playing Sunday and won’t be able to play Tuesday night.
Man Utd play Sunday and then away at Chelsea on the Saturday 12.30 so not ideal for them if we drew them

Arsenal look certain to be through with them being 4-1 up with 10 minutes to go against Ipswich.

 

Fulham also through as well as Brentford and Liverpool.
