We only have to wear our away kit if there’s a clash. We often wear our home kit away and have done for years.

 

*Humphrys has had a stop start pre-season due to his wife giving birth and picking up an injury. I don’t think he went to Austria. Graham said the other day he’s back in training but has a lot of catching up to do. Assuming he stays beyond the transfer window I can’t see him getting in the team until the Papa Johns games come around.

 

You sure about that? We barely wore it at all away last season. In face I'm pretty sure we never wore it away last season.

 

Absolutely this. There were numerous times last season when there was no colour clash whatsoever but we wore our second or third kit.

Yes, we wore our home kit at Cardiff. Also at Blackburn, Bolton in November, possibly others.

In the promotion season we wore our home kit at MK Dons, Birmingham Swindon and Chesterfield to name a few.

 

Did we ever win a game in the pink kit?

 

Can only think of Stockport at start of season

 

Pretty sure it's been mentored that we're contracted to wear all three kits a set amount of times a season where possible, presumably to help sales.

I've no idea what this figure is though.

 

I seem to remember us wearing it away quite a bit last season. Peterborough and Wigan we definitely did and I'm sure there were a few more.

 

Think we may have worn it at Wycombe as well. Don't think it was as bad for us as the previous seasons blue kit though!

 

Does anyone know what injury she has?

 

No way the likes of Sarcevic plays 4 games in 10 days so Cartwright will get his chance. I think Phillips and Jackson and Pointon and Swan will rotate. Lapsile will play at some point You would also expect Welch and Joe Wright to get some minutes too. Only players I see starting the next 4 games are McCracken Touray Baldwin Gillesphey and Beesley. I think the rest get a breather. I know Beesley has been taken off for Powell but those guys look like the players where 4 games in 10 days wouldn't affect their performance.

 

Have just checked and we wore the home kit in both games. Though, like you, I seem to remember seeing it at a few games last season.

Early season seems a good time to play relegated clubs. Wednesday will only improve. A hard working performance yet they missed several chances first half and could have been 1 or 2 up. What’s really encouraging is the second half response. We were the better side aside from a spell after we scored we we couldn’t clear the ball properly. Our football was streetwise for a good period and we held them at an arms length until the last 30 seconds. Despite this I think there may be harder challenges. Luton and Stockport have made a strong start. 6 games in will be the guide as to who is who I think.
