That Sarcevic goal was a huge sliding doors moment for Baldwin as well as the club. If didn't go up that season it would have been a long way back for him. Once we went up, apart from a few boos from a tiny minority when he was announced onto the pitch for the trophy presentation, it was all forgotten and he's not really looked back.

 

The big test will come if they both get injured at the same time which is not out of the question, and our midfield 2 becomes Cartwright and Lapslie.

We play 3 behind the forward when in attacking situations.
Only thing is I don't see Phillips as someone who when we are defending will get back to support the 6 so already this idea of Sarc on the left is flawed.

 

He might get a game on Weds.,in place of Sarce,for who 2 games in 4 days might be a bit much for him.

Stats looked very good to be fair. Most of his good stuff I couldn't see from high up in the away ends but having watched the highlights he was excellent in that second half and fully deserved it. Long may it continue.
