Jackson starting is a concern, the guy is soo wasteful just doesnt know when to pull the trigger

 

He is a good player, just needs to curb his sulks. Phillips probably not quite there yet fitness wise to do 90 minutes, but great option off the bench

Terrible awareness so far from us

 

Ugh, holes all over the defence....

 

Good strong hand from McCracken to save that from Banana. We need to wake up and compete.

 

Pennington and McCracken kept us in this. Awful from Touray and Josh.

 

We are a good hard working team but we don’t have the quality that Wednesday have.

 

Getting absolutely creamed out there…

 

Got to find a way of putting a few passes together and get through to 15-20 minutes at 0-0. Being played at our own game with the pressure on us.

 

As said earlier, off the ball we are a 5-1-3-1 and the space between Connolly and Sarce is a joke so far

 

This shape wont work against a good midfielders. One pass through the middle and they are in every time.

 

The only positive so far is that we are not sitting back and we’re not focusing our play on being scared of what they can do. The negative is that they simply have too much space as we have one midfielder and two average wingbacks

 

That should be a yellow card…
