Last time I was in Hillsborough Ron Springett was in goal.

 

Only been once - was travelling with a non-City supporting mate from East Yorkshire to try and watch City away ( Stoke I think) ; good old British Rail let us down so once it was obvious we wouldn’t make it we re-routed and went to watch Wednesday v Middlesbrough just to see a match.

 

A young CM they signed after his release from Everton U21s has done his ACL after making his debut last weekend. Be out for a while.

Remember once sitting on a coach leaving Hillsborough with bricks coming through the window. Oh the good old days

I think it was 1966, I went with my uncle from Rotherham and my dad.

My first time in a pub at 13 years old, outside streets were lined with police.

 

Went on a double decker from interchange , one of patsys famous travel , went about 30 mph got outside ground just before kick off as all Sheffield Wednesday fans were coming out of pubs , patsy and crew shouting out of windows as bus was at walking pace , don’t think a window was left as we passed ground , I remember getting home with Baildon travel which was full but let us stand all way home , how everyone else on patsys bus got home I don’t know

 

That's a shame...

 

I'm a bit concerned that the City fans are attacking the City coach. I know I've got this one down as a 3-1 defeat for us, but is it really going to be that bad?

Hi everyone,

I’m a Bradford City fan and I’ve been working on a new website called 92 Away Days, which I’ve soft launched today ahead of tonight’s game against Sheffield Wednesday.

The idea is to make planning away days easier, with ground info, pubs, travel and more.

It’s still a work in progress, so some data is missing and there’ll be things to improve. I’d really appreciate any feedback from fellow City fans — especially anything you’d find useful when planning todays away day.

 

I remember Springett from when I collected Typhoo Tea cards. I think I had the full 1966 World Cup squad collection. I wish I had have kept it. My mum probably got rid when I moved out years later!

 

Looks like Wednesday will have Kieran Morrison in the squad as long as they got the paperwork for the loan from Liverpool in on time yesterday. If they get going they should score a lot of goals or at least create a lot with Harry Gray, Louis Barry, Callum Slattery and Kieran Morrison in behind the striker.

If they did get him signed in time I would expect they'll announce it at about 6pm to keep us guessing and to give the crowd another lift going into the game.

 

Just to let any one know who is interested and sorry if others already posted. Looks like the game is free to watch on Sky channel 11, from 7:30 tonight

 

Morrison has signed for Wednesday and is available to play tonight.
